Right now.

18:

Story from my childhood.

This story is about Brad. I can do that for this challenge, because I have known Brad since childhood. We have camping buddies, Hawkins, Swensons, Pullmans. We camp together. We go to Bear Lake all the time. Still go all the time. It is one of the things I look forward to every year. One year, I was little. I don't know how old... but we were at Bear Lake, it was Raspberry Days. They had awesome tents and things for sale, and all the girls got Henna Tattoos. It was my first Henna Tattoo. So fun, it was really great, and exciting. I got a flower on my ankle ( yes, I'm one of those... ) We planned a beach day for after the festivities, but if you got a henna tattoo, you couldn't get in the water for a few hours after, or it would rub off. I sat on the beach with the other ladies for a while, but the water was just too inviting. I decided to play. I played for hours in the water. My henna was ruined. Gone gone. But I played. I played with Brad that day, and we rolled around in the water, and splashed, and played in the sand. At the end of the day, I said, " I'm so glad I decided to play today." and he said, "Me too."
It made me so happy.

20:

Get real: Something you are struggling with right now

I secretly shopped for the "right" water bottle for a month. I am struggling with hormones. Mood swings. Hormones. Mood swings.
I am struggling, Brad is struggling. But he is the best husband in the world.

Day 17

Day 17 is a favorite picture of yourself.

This is one of my favorites. This is the first picture me and Amelia have taken that I feel like we look almost like twins. Everyone says it, but this is one of the first times I have thought it.
I love her the most.

Day 16 Blog Every Day

Day 16 of the May challenge is something difficult about your "lot in life" and how you're working to overcome it.

I think that my "lot in life" is probably one of the easier lots.... I have a good job, a way to pay for school, the best husband, a great family, a healthy family.
One thing that has been some kind of lot, is being a wife. Being a wife is hard work. Different work. I don't know if I knew what I was getting into...  but, as hard as it is for me, and as hard as I am for Brad, I am so happy. I am so glad I am married to the best man around, and we are Happi. We are 1 year next month! WHAT.

I love being Mrs. Hawkins.

FIFTEEN

Day 15 is a day in the life post. What I do, on a normal basis. Well, its quite normal. On a basis.

STEP BY STEP, GO.

7:30am :
Brad alarm goes off.

8:00am :
Brad second alarm and Eliza alarm go off. Brad gets out of bed, Eliza rolls around and talks about calling in sick and never getting out of bed.

8:10am :
Eliza gets out of bed.

8:30am :
Brad is showered, dressed, fed, and has made 2 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Eliza is slowly getting ready....

8:40am :
Brad is gone to work or school, Eliza's "you need to be putting on your shoes song-alarm goes off." (Send me on my way-- Rusted Root)

9:00am :
At work now, and doing some kind of computer work, listening to my favorite Intsrumental playlist I made, containing things from Memoirs of a Geshia, Harry Potter, Babies, and LOTR/Hobbit.

10:00am :
Still doing paper work.

11:00am :
Finishing up paperwork............

11:30am :
Reading my book.

12:00pm :
Reading and eating my sandwich Brad made.

1:00pm :
Reading.

2:00pm :
Done! Get to go home! Hard day of working....... heh.

3:00 and on :
Watch Greys Anatomy
Clean Kitchen
Make Bed
Laundry (I feel like I am always doing laundry.... but thats not really true.)
Pinterest.
Read Blogs
Hopefully start dinner
Google cats

Wait for Brad........... Sigh.... Lonely.

When Brad gets home sometimes we go to Mapleton to see our families, or we talk and eat and shower, make chocolate banana shakes and watch FRIENDS except that we finished ALL 10 SEASONS CRAP. I'm not sure what we are going to do with our lives now. Probably go to bed earlier. That would be awesome. and smart.

I watched a TV show called Private Practice, it was about a doctor.... She had an Ex husband, and now I am watching Greys Anatomy, and it is about THE EX HUSBAND. They are toast connected.
WHAT> it was the craziest thing! I am loving it.
Dramatic doctor shows are my guilty pleasure....
Happy Wednesday!

FOURTEEN: Ten Things That Make You Happy

so many things make me happy. But here are just the top ten that come to mind today, right now.

my Brad

My friend Brooke Knight drew me!! She is incredibly talented, and the fact she chose to draw me is a huge honor. I am so grateful for her friend ship, she is an amazing example to me. I learn so much from every moment I am around her!
